Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nyx Social Autopilot ("Nyx," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Teddy Ashmore, a Missouri sole proprietor doing business as Nyx Social Autopilot, handles information when you use nyxsocialautopilot.com, app.nyxsocialautopilot.com, and the connected creator-publishing service.
Information we process
Depending on how you use Nyx, we may process account information such as your email address and display name; authentication/session information; connected-platform account identifiers and profile information; OAuth authorization credentials; creator-selected video files and post metadata; schedules, queue/history records, platform publishing results, and available engagement/insight data; service preferences; and technical/security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Connected platforms and OAuth
Nyx connects supported social accounts using authorization methods provided by TikTok, Google/YouTube, and Meta/Instagram. Nyx does not ask you to provide your social-platform password. The permissions requested are used to identify authorized connected accounts and perform creator-requested publishing or related supported functions. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
Google API Services
When Google user data is accessed through Google APIs, Nyx's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Nyx uses authorized YouTube data to identify the connected channel and to perform creator-requested uploads. Google authorization credentials are protected using the security controls described below and are not sold or used for advertising.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate users; maintain account separation; connect creator-authorized social accounts; upload, schedule, publish, and track creator-selected content; display available platform status/analytics; save publishing preferences; provide support; maintain security; diagnose failures; and comply with legal or platform obligations.
Data protection
Nyx uses HTTPS/TLS for network transport. Sensitive platform credential payloads are encrypted server-side using AES-GCM before database persistence. User-owned records are associated with authenticated user identities, and cloud media objects are kept in private object storage with controlled access used for the publishing workflow. Administrative controls are restricted to authorized operator functions.
Service providers
Nyx relies on infrastructure and platform providers required to operate the service, including cloud hosting/storage, authentication/database services, and the social platforms a user chooses to connect. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their respective services.
Payments
Nyx may use a third-party payment processor when subscription billing is enabled. Payment-card details should be collected and processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly by Nyx. This policy will be updated with the applicable provider details when live billing is activated.
Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain publishing history and security records, comply with applicable obligations, or resolve disputes. Connected credentials can be removed when an account is disconnected. Uploaded media may be removed according to the service's operational retention and cleanup process after it is no longer needed for publishing.
Your choices and requests
You can disconnect supported accounts through Nyx and may also revoke authorization through the relevant platform. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Nyx account, subject to legal/security retention requirements. Contact support@nyxsocialautopilot.com.
Sale and advertising
Nyx does not sell personal information to advertisers and does not use connected-platform authorization data to build advertising profiles.
Children
Nyx is not directed to children under 13. Users must also satisfy the age and eligibility requirements of the platforms they connect.
Security limitations
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We use safeguards appropriate to the hosted service and update them as the product changes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Nyx adds providers, payment processing, features, or legal requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version.
